Engine Controls

The Xtreme style balanced handle design provides an incredibly smooth yet positive feel. Neutral interlock, neutral throttle warm-up, and start-in-gear protection features are standard on all Xtreme Side-mount models. They are offered with power trim, tilt, and emergency cut-off switches. Xtreme controls are suitable for use with both 3300/33C universal or OEM-type control cables without additional adapters.

Concealed surface mount engine control is designed to operate both the shift & throttle functions of ski boats using a single lever.

Dometic's surface mount dual function engine control head is designed to operate both the shift & throttle functions on sailboats simultaneously.

Xtreme controls are suitable for use with both 3300/33C universal or OEM type control cables without adaptation.

The Dometic SeaStar model CH5300P controls provide both shift and throttle operation for outboards, inboards/outboards, or inboards with hydraulic* transmissions, or small manual transmissions (Hurth, Yanmar) with light shifting loads of 15 lbs. (6.8 kg.) maximum. It can be used with Dometic 3300/33C or Xtreme™ Cables. A heavy-duty cable kit (part number 308725) is available for a 4300 style cable. (*Allison, Borg Warner, Capitol, Caterpillar, Paragon Twin Disc, ZF)
