Lewmar Vertical Windlasses

Hoisting anchors, water buckets, fishing trawls and other equipment will be simple with a high-performance vertical windlass kit from Lewmar and Lippert. Designed to work directly with 12-volt DC power, they offer reliable performance and easy installation.

Many windlass models are available for different equipment and power requirements. A basic Lewmar V700 windlass has a 700-pound maximum pull which is adequate for many pleasure boat applications. The most powerful windlasses can pull over 4,000 pounds for yachts and commercial craft.

Choose between lightweight composite and rugged stainless steel vertical windlass construction for the most durable performance in ocean environments. Lewmar windlasses are also known as some of the quietest around so they don’t disrupt other activities. Circuit breakers, solenoids and rocker switches are included, though you will need to add high-test windlass chains and lines. Appropriately sized drill bits, hole saws and marine sealant are required for installation; check the product manual for more details.
