Our goal is to educate you about the purpose and function of many of the Crusader marine engine parts required to keep your boat running smoothly. Whether you're a veteran seaman or a novice, one thing you all know is that a boat comes equipped with hundreds of moving parts.

No one person can know everything there is to know about the proper functioning of every boat part. That's why we've tapped the collective wisdom of our long-time technical experts to share their knowledge and expertise.

What You Need to Know About the Crusader 3-Inch Exhaust Elbow

This Crusader exhaust elbow is specific to the Crusader engine. It fits the Crusader exhaust manifold design and no others. The 3-inch refers to the exhaust hose size that connects to the elbow. It’s a typical marine water jacketed cast iron item and is painted in the classic Crusader blue.

This is not a current production part. It was used by Crusader in the 1960s up until 1992. At that point, its use in everyday production was discontinued but still available as a service replacement item for those older engines.

It fits the Crusader V8 small block 283, 305, 307, 327, and 350 cu. in. marine engines up to approximately 1991 and the Crusader V8 big block 454 and 502 cu. in. marine engines up to approximately 1991. It does not include gasket or mounting hardware.
